Nokia's 8MP N86 - Launched

Thought the 5MP on the Nokia N97 is enough? Nokia now bests it best with its new 8MP N86.

The N86 has a large 2.6” OLED screen and in contrast to Nokia N97's total lack of buttons this one has the plenty with the usual 5 button navigation, call / end keys, and menu and clear keys. A dual slide out design unveils even more keys, with the standard numeric keypad, and shorter slide-out with media keys.

With Samsung and LG coming out with phones having 12MP cameras, the 8MP camera may seem like an underplay. However for most people not looking for mobile that doubles as a decent camera, rather that a decent camera that doubles as a phones, this will indeed be impressive. The 8MP camera has Nokia's usual Carl-Zeiss lenses. Additionally it supports auto-focus with dual stage image capture, and a dual Led flash. The camera also supports video capture at VGA resolutions at up to 30fps.

Like the N97 it too comes with a GPS, digital compass, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. With almost the same feature set, it is quite a match for the N97, except for it's smaller screen, and lack of touch sensitivity.

With the recent release of the N97, this might just steal some competition away from the bigger beast, especially those attracted by its camera. Either way though the ball's in Nokia's court.

Even God has a Sense of Humour

God was in the process of creating the universe.
And he was explaining to his subordinates "Look everything should be in balance. For example, after every 10 deer there should be a lion.

Look here my fellow angels, here is the country of the United States.
I have blessed them with prosperity and money.
But at the same time I have given them insecurity and tension....

And here is Africa. I have given them beautiful nature.
But at the same time, I have given them climatic extremes.

And here is South America. I have given them lots of forests.
But at the same time, I have given them lesser land so that they would have to cut off the forests...
So you see fellows, everything should be in balance.

One of the angels asked...
"God, what is this extremely beautiful country here?"

God said....... "Ahah...that is the crown piece of all. "INDIA",
My most precious creation.
It has understanding and friendly People.
Sparkling streams and serene mountains.
A culture which speaks of the great tradition that they live.
Technologically brilliant and with a heart of gold.....

The angel was quite surprised:
"But god you said everything should be in balance."

God replied -- "Look at the neighbors I gave them."

The Most Dangerous Web Search Terms

Which search terms would make it on the list if you would have to compile a list of the ten most dangerous web search terms? Most users would probably add search terms like warez, cracks and sex when asked to compile a top ten list. A recent McAfee study on the other hand came to a completely different conclusion. The ten most dangerous web search terms are everyday search terms that cannot be connected easily with malicious intent. The top spot is occupied by searches for Screensavers, followed by free games, work from home and Rihanna with Barrack Obama, the iphone and Taxes in the list as well. It should however be noted that the top 10 list is made up of categories and not single search terms.

These search terms are more dangerous than, lets say warez, because most users know that warez can lead to malicious software quite easily while they most likely do not suspect the same from these popular search terms.

The McAfee researches searched for more than 2600 popular keywords examining the first five pages of results across five popular search engines with McAfee’s Site Advisor Technology. The top 50 most dangerous search terms in the US were listed in the research paper as well. The phrase “word unscrambler” is taking up the top spot followed by lyrics, myspace and free Music Downloads

The researches discovered that lyrics and free made up the two most category-specific risks on the web these days. The research paper can be downloaded directly at McAfee.

Opens New Tabs with Right Clicks on Laptops - InstaClick Firefox Addons

Firefox extension InstaClick makes up for your laptop's lack of a middle mouse button by re-mapping the right-click function to open links in a new tab. Once the extension is installed, using right-click on any link will open it in a new tab. If you want to see the normal context menu for a link, simply hold down the Shift, Ctrl, or Alt keys while right-clicking on the link. There's no UI, preferences, or anything else—it just works exactly as advertised, and since it only applies when clicking a link, it's not very intrusive.

Firefox Addons Link : InstaClick

InstaClick is a free download, works wherever Firefox does. It's one of those add-ons that isn't right for everybody, but if you are stuck with a laptop that doesn't have a middle-click button, it's well worth a look. Thanks, emellaich!

Create thousands of folders quickly based on your rules

If you've ever had to manually create large numbers of new folders in Windows you know how time consuming and frustrating it can be. New Folder Wizard can help you create thousands of folders quickly and easily. Options include numbering the folders, prefix and suffix text,
zero padding, and using a text file as the source for folder names. Use this program to help you organize images or other files of your choice by easily creating the folders for you. Using the text file option makes new folder creation as easy as typing. Or, if you use an external program like Microsoft Excel you can create your own naming and incrementing scheme. Simply export your list as a text file and let New Folder Wizard create the folders for you!

New Folder Wizard Requires .NET FrameWork 2.0
Similar Tool : XMD

Another Way to do this By Jason

Hmmm . . . this looks pretty cool. Normally I use Excel for something like this. Create all the "names" I want, or paste them from another list, and then concatenate them together with the "md" command (make directory).

So, column A could be filled with numbers, names, letters, whatever the variable part of the folder title was going to be.
001
002
003
etc

Then, in column B you’d copy and paste a formula:

="md "&"""day "&A1&" results"""

which would resolve to:

md "day 001 results"
md "day 002 results"
md "day 003 results"

copy this list into notepad, save it as a BAT file, and run it in the folder where you want the files.

Yes, I agree that in the individual case the profiled program is likely faster, but this is a relatively infrequent need for me, and the flexibility of using anything in an excel spreadsheet as the source is sometimes useful (you could still use this program to paste them into a text file).

Cool program nonetheless!

Michael Jackson Ghost Spotted NEVERLAND

Michael Jackson fans are up in arms after a ghostly apparition was caught on camera at the late star's Neverland ranch.

The image was captured whilst a camera crew filmed inside Neverland for a special edition of the Larry King Live show.

A shadowy figure can be seen crossing one of the corridors and appears to have its head tilted forward causing some to draw comparisons with Jackson's posture.

The alleged supernatural sighting is the latest in a string of bizarre Jackson rumours to sweep the internet following his death nearly two weeks ago including speculation that Jackson faked his own death and that he will be buried without his brain.

Do you think this is really the ghost of Michael Jackson? Could there be another explanation or perhaps another spectre is haunting the corridors of Neverland.
